This question concerns many people, but not everyone understands what it is and how it should really happen. Indeed, control methods are clearly specified in DSTU, GOST and Technical Regulations, however, they all have one indisputable disadvantage - these are “off line” methods, i.e. inspection and control of manufactured products is carried out AFTER its production. For example, a batch of 50,000 meters of produced pipe during acceptance may have some deviations in wall thickness or outer diameter, for example, instead of 25 mm, it will be 24.9. You must admit - just to reject this batch, as required by GOST, is very problematic and most likely in Ukrainian realities such watch will end up with the Buyer.
This will not work for us, because we control the whole process in the "on-line" mode. The entire production process is controlled exclusively by a computer and we just select the type of pipe and the program. The rest is a matter of technology. The control takes place in two main and one auxiliary ways: gravimetry and an ultrasonic measuring device of the outer diameter are the main ones, and the auxiliary one is an automated winding wheel.
Gravimetry - at the software level controls the weight of the pipe, the wall thickness and the ratio of layers (in the production of multilayer pipes).
Ultrasonic inspection of the outer diameter - controls the specified range of values for the outer diameter of the pipe. In case of deviation, a sound signal is given and a command is sent to the main controller to automatically correct the required parameters.
The automatic winding wheel is a unit practically independent of the line, which is programmed to adjust to the appropriate parameters of the pipe and line operation: outer diameter and density of the material, production speed. If they are rejected, we simply will not be able to wind an even and beautiful coil.
Thus, we do not urge to neglect the classic rulers, calipers and "people in white robe". We are simply for modern technologies for controlling the production process, which, in combination with primary raw materials from leading manufacturers, guarantee both you and us that the manufactured products meet all the requirements of Standards and Technical Regulations.
